While only spanning fourteen years, Standing Liberty Quarters are great coins to collect. Designed by Hermon A. MacNeil, it went through two variety changes. Once in 1917 to make the liberty more modest with an addition of breastplate and stars below the eagle, and again in 1925 with a recessed date to make them last longer over the years. In recent years, these coins have gained much interest and are definitely a great collection.
