Items We Buy:

At Infinity Coins, we're interested in a broad spectrum of precious items. Our expertise extends beyond gold and silver, encompassing a range of precious metals and jewelry. Here's a non-exhaustive list of what we buy:

  • Precious Metal Jewelry: This includes gold, silver, platinum, rhodium, and ruthenium jewelry. Whether it's rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, or chains, we're interested.

  • Scrap Gold and Silver: If you have broken or damaged jewelry, pieces missing stones, or items you no longer wear, we're ready to buy them. We also purchase gold fillings and gold nuggets.

  • Coins: We buy coins of all kinds, including those with holes or other damage, foreign coins, and coins made of gold, silver, or other precious metals.

  • Gold Dust and White Gold: If you have gold dust or white gold items, we're interested in buying them.

  • Watches: We buy watches, especially those made from precious metals or high-end brands like Waltham, Rolex, and Citizen.

  • Diamonds: We're always on the lookout for diamonds, whether they're loose or part of a piece of jewelry.

  • Vintage and Antique Items: We're interested in vintage jewelry and some small antique items, especially those made of precious metals.

If you have something not listed here, don't hesitate to ask us about it!

The Selling Process:

Selling to us is straightforward and convenient. Here's how it works:

  1. Examination: We first inspect all items to determine which ones are gold and silver and which ones require testing. We also group items based on suspected purity to expedite the testing process.

  2. Testing: We perform a small file into the back of the item and apply test acid to see the color it turns. This test determines whether it's gold or not. We then separate out what doesn’t test as gold and focus on what items do. We further test to find out the Karat of gold you have (10K, 14K, 18K, etc.) by rubbing the gold item against a test stone and applying various types of acid on the stone.

  3. Weighing: After separating, we weigh the gold on a small scale to check for weight. We generally buy scrap gold in Grams for accuracy, but we can weigh in Grams, Pennyweights, Grains, Troy ounces, Regular Ounces, or any other weight measurement you prefer.

  4. Getting Paid: After testing and weighing all the gold, we check the current spot price. We have a formula for figuring out the price that gets you the best money. We take the number of grams times the price per gram equals what you get paid. We can pay cash at the time of selling, no waiting to get paid, or hoping a check is good.
