History
The Mortuga design is inspired by the hawksbill turtle. These turtles are primarily omnivores, feeding mainly on sponges, but also consuming algae, sea anemones, jellyfish, and other small invertebrates. Their specialized diet of sponges is unique among sea turtles and plays a crucial role in the health of coral reef ecosystems by controlling sponge populations.
