The New Zealand Mint is very excited to be delivering a Star Wars coin collection for the smash hit Disney+ series, The Mandalorian! The first release is for none other than The Mandalorian himself.
The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travels of a lone gunfighter, The Mandalorian, in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. He is a formidable bounty hunter in an increasingly dangerous galaxy. His body is shielded by beskar armor, his face hidden behind a T-visored mask, and his past is wrapped in mystery...no one is quite sure who this well-equipped stranger is.
This finely engraved and coloured pure silver coin is officially licensed by Lucasfilm Ltd and shows the man himself armed and ready to protect the Child. As a legal tender coin, the obverse simply bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
