With a minimal mintage of 2,500 coins produced, this gorgeous peice from The Cook Islands has been produced in such a way as to make every coin unique from the others. Sure, the meteorite sample from the Chergach meteorite that fell in the Timbuktu region of Mali are all different, but each coin has been pierced through the center to simulate the impact of the meteorite. This piercing process was intentionally designed to be imperfect to allow the silver to 'give' to the pressure and each break differently.
